At approximately 5:00 a.m. this morning, Eskom announced they would be implementing Stage 2 Load Shedding from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. today. Based on the latest load shedding schedule for the Greater Mossel Bay area, this means that we can expect to be without power on The Island from 8:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. tonight.
We may have also experienced a power cut from 6:00 a.m. until 6:30 a.m. this morning based on the same schedule to be honest, I was still lying in bed listening to the birds and didn’t notice… when I got up there were no flashing clocks, but my router had to be reset, so I am not certain whether it happened or not.
